Mark SCERRI is a full-time senior lecturer with the Division of Environmental Management and Planning of the Institute of Earth Systems. Mark is in possession of a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and Physics a Masters degree in Chemistry (both from the University of Malta), a Masters degree in Environmental Management and Technology from the De Montfort University (UK), Aalborg Universitet Esbjerg (Denmark) and the Fachhochschule Emden/Leer (Germany) and a Doctorate in Applied Geosciences from the Technische Universität Darmstadt. Mark delivers lectures to undergraduate students on Waste Management, Environmental Law, Environmental Pollution, Environment Impact Assessment and Climate Change. Mark has extensive professional experience in Environmental Regulation, particularly in the control of emissions from stationary sources and in ambient air quality. Mark is a full Member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences, the Institute of Air Quality Management, the European Environmental Law Forum, the German Association for Aerosol Research and the German Chemical Society. He has also acted as a reviewer for the international journals Atmospheric Research, Chemosphere, Environmental Research and Atmosphere.
