DGP0954 - Introduction to European Union Law and Citizen’s Rights

This course introduces the European Union and EU law within the context of a state’s membership of the EU and then deals with selected topics which are of direct interest to the general public about EU citizens’ rights. Selected topics include a background of EU treaties, free movement, Schengen, monetary union, environmental protections, and consumer rights among others.

Registration can be done through eSIMS during registration period.

Students who encounter problems in registering online are to send an email on degreeplus@um.edu.mt quoting the ID or student number and DGP code.

Kindly note that unless otherwise stated, only registered UM students can apply for DegreePlus units during SEM1 and SEM2.
