Our research

Our research focuses on the creative aspects of mathematics and the positive fall out on related sciences. Spectral graph theory may be described as analytic geometry driven through abstract algebra and combinatorics. It enables us to create new concepts and use them in an innovative way to discover new ideas or verify known results. Our aim is to create theories to clarify poorly understood physical occurrences in a fascinating way. To date we have devised new models, prototypes and technologies, which are in a continual ongoing  process of being improved. Together with our collaborators, we discovered underlying molecular structures in certain fullerenes and the electrical behaviour of nano-molecules in circuits. Driven by the recent discoveries, we plan to build up a theory to unravel the mysteries behind unexpected observations.

Our principal aim is to conceptualize the potential of spectral graph theory as an illuminating line of inquiry when rationalizing experimental observations. In the process, so far undiscovered avenues open up in the creation of new mathematical theory. This is a long journey that produces long-term benefits as claims of new theories in mathematics, quantum mechanical chemistry, control theory and computer design are unleashed. Successive laps are travelled through short term objectives that take shape along the way potentially leading to a single unifying theory that explains all mathematical, physical and chemical theory related to quantum mechanics.
