The University of Malta is inviting all interested students presently enrolled at the UM to submit their application for the voluntary role of EU Careers Student Ambassador for the 2026-2027 academic year! If you’re interested in EU career opportunities and want to help other students learn more about them, this could be the perfect role for you.
What does an EU Careers Ambassador do?
As an ambassador, you’ll be the go-to person for students curious about career opportunities in EU institutions. You’ll also get to plan and run your own activities to spread the word. Some things you might do include:
Why should you apply?
By joining the EU Careers Student Ambassadors Programme, you’ll be part of an EU-wide initiative run by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) —the team responsible for hiring staff for EU institutions.
At the start of the academic year, EPSO will invite all ambassadors for a training session in Brussels on 2-4 October 2026. Plus, at the end of the programme, you’ll receive a reference letter from EPSO’s Head, which will be a great boost for your CV.
