Interested to seek what advanced research in criminology results in? The MA in Criminology by Research morphs students towards critical thinking in understanding what makes offenders tick, the offender-victim dynamic, the categories of crime, the spatial locations that crime occurs in, the crime scene reconstruction and a plethora of other themes. Students bring a wealth of knowledge to the course as they experience a journey stemming from their previous degrees, their employment and experiences, such that the course results in an interactive structuring on thoughts, philosophies, strategies and operational perspectives of what criminology and the designing out of crime within our societies. Other commit crime, we think about crime to mitigate, reduce and halt the offences, in turn leading our students to become policy-makers and decision-takers.
