The Dean's Award is an annual celebration of our students.
On Friday, 16 May 2025, the Faculty for Social Wellbeing organised the Annual Dean’s Awards Ceremony at the Pietru Pawl Saydon Hall (ALT), at the Tal-Qroqq University of Malta Campus.
Through this annual event, the faculty honours the academic excellence of its students who either obtained a First Class or a Distinction in their Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
The highlights of the event were:

> The Social Commitment Awards,
> The Faculty Lifetime Achievement Award to Ms Astrid Vella

Best Student Award – Diploma in Community Access for Disabled People, sponsored by the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability
Best Gozitan Student Award, sponsored by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning
Best Student Placement – Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Youth and Community Studies, sponsored by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ
Best Student Award – Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology, sponsored by Grant Thornton Malta
Best Dissertation Award – Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology, sponsored by KPMG
