Discover your true potential with our Certificate in Volunteering Studies programme!
The Certificate in Volunteering Studies supports volunteers who are engaged in diverse fields. The course aims to impart the knowledge, skills and values required to make an ethical, effective and sustainable impact in their NGOs. It is divided into seven study units, held on three evenings a week for one academic year. Throughout the year, students are coached in personal development and reflective practice. In the first semester, students learn about the voluntary sector; the recruitment and support of volunteers; and strategy and planning. In the second semester, students focus on helping skills; governance and management; and adding value to the voluntary sector.
