Bonhoeffer Colloquium

Theme:             Engaging the Secular: Bonhoeffer’s Legacy for Today
Date:                 8-9 May 2025
Location:          Faculty of Theology, University of Malta (Msida Campus) (see Map)

Overview
Dietrich Bonhoeffer, one of the foremost Christian theologians of the 20th century, continues to inspire profound reflection on the relationship between faith and a secularized world. His seminal works, The Cost of Discipleship, Ethics and Letters and Papers from Prison, challenge individuals and communities to critically examine the Church's role in a society increasingly detached from traditional religious paradigms.

This colloquium, organized by the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta in collaboration with the Evangelical School of Theology in Wroclaw, aims to explore Bonhoeffer’s contributions to discussions on secularism, ethics, and Christian witness
