Joint Programmes Committee

The Joint Programmes Committee is a Senate-appointed committee composed of members of staff nominated for this purpose by the Rector. Its main functions are to:

  • advise Senate on matters regarding proposals for joint programmes in light of the University’s Strategic plan
  • disseminate information, guidelines and advice to academic members of staff who are considering participating in joint programmes
  • provide recommendations to the Programme Validation Committee (PVC) about prospective joint programmes, and 
  • oversee and support the implementation of the programme.

Term of Appointment:
1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025

Director of Finance or delegate
Director of International Office or delegate
Deputy Registrar, Academic Programmes Quality & Resources Unit (APQRU)
Two members of staff with experience in joint programmes.

The committee can call on the expertise of specific offices as the need arises.
