Programme: Erasmus+ KA220-SCH
Duration: 36 Months (01/09/2025 – 31/08/2028)
Grant: €400,000.00
Project Aims
The main goal of the TEDS 2 project is to enhance Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) by equipping teachers and educators (T&E) with the knowledge, skills, and strategic thinking necessary to tackle pressing socially acute questions (SAQs), such as climate change and migration. TEDS 2 aims to empower educators as key drivers of positive societal transformation in their communities through innovative, interdisciplinary, and culturally grounded teaching practices.
- Identify Good Practices: Research European representations of socially acute issues and identify proven ESD strategies that can be scaled up.
- Mainstream the Cultural Pillar: Integrate the often-overlooked cultural pillar of Sustainable Development into teacher training and ESD resources.
- Establish Mentoring Systems: Design and pilot peer-to-peer (horizontal) and expert (vertical) mentoring systems to assist educators in creating socially sensitive learning experiences.
- Develop Open Resources: Produce and share a comprehensive database of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) teaching resources guided by an integrated ESD & SDG matrix.
