DESCRIPTION To offer more advanced practice in Creative Writing.

This study-unit is open to students who may already have had some work published or who would already have taken Creative Writing I. It offers more intensive and advanced workshops in Creative Writing. Admission to the study-unit may be consequent upon a favourable review of work submitted in advance to the tutor.

Reading List:

No specific texts are indicated, but the tutor may recommend certain guides in the field as the study-unit progresses.

ADDITIONAL NOTES This study-unit is only available to students who are taking courses within the Department of English as part of their undergraduate programme: i.e. BA (Hons) in English, BA in English and another subject; B. Ed. (Hons) with English; B. Comm. and English; Law and English. Students may also be asked to present a sample of work before acceptance.

Additionally, first year undergraduate students cannot register for this study-unit.
