DESCRIPTION This study-unit is a continuation and at the same time a conclusion of the first two years of studies. Student will learn further differentiation of sound, dynamic and vibrato as well as using all possible kind of bowing and fingering technique required to become a professional violin player.

Study-unit Aims:

This study-unit is aimed to summarize all knowledge and technical skills received in previous years of studies, make a strong connection between technical skills and interpretation according to the style and genre of the musical piece reaching a high level of proficiency in violin playing.

Learning Outcomes:

Knowledge & Understanding
By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to:

a) identify the main physical and theoretical skills required for violin playing;
b) explore different possibilities for a recital program.

Skills
By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to:

a) prepare and present a recital program;
b) develop the major skills of violin playing;
c) explore the technical and expressive elements of performing music.
