DESCRIPTION A project on an aspect of pharmaceutical technology approved by the Head of Department will be chosen. A literature review will be performed and fieldwork carried out. Data will be collected and a report will be submitted.

Study-unit Aims:

- To perform a short study on an aspect in pharmaceutical technology and present it as a project.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Knowledge & Understanding:

By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to Identify peer-reviewed published sources relevant to the area of study - Describe 'real-life' scenarios.

2. Skills:
By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to:

- develop a research plan;
- capture information on current practice and processes;
- evaluate current practice and processes;
- handle data generated from fieldwork;
- demonstrate academic report writing abilities encompassing a critical analysis of the literature review, specifying project aims, describing methodology and reporting on findings.
