| DESCRIPTION | This study‑unit explores the historical and contemporary development of tourism across the Mediterranean region. It examines the evolution of travel from early imperial, religious, and commercial mobility to the rise of mass tourism in the post‑war era and the diversification of tourism in the 21st century.
