The Department of Technology & Entrepreneurship Education (TEE) is committed to excellence in the formation of educators in the areas of Computing, Technical Design & Technology, Business and Entrepreneurship Education and to the research of these areas within the educational sphere.

TEE plans to continue building on existing initiatives in collaboration with the Directorates of Education and other entities such as MITA, MCA, MCAST, MCST, MIA, Commerce Division, Malta Enterprise, MIM and private industry to promote our teaching and research interests.
The Department of Technology & Entrepreneurship Education (TEE) is the result of a faculty refactoring process that has been going on for a number of years and that came into fruition this academic year. This department is an off shoot of the Department of Mathematics, Science & Technical Education (DMSTE) which was set up in 1991. This department focused on initial teacher training and research in pedagogy and areas closely linked to it and had 23 full time members of staff. This new department will include the subject areas of Computing Education (including ICT and Digital Literacy), Technical Design & Technology Education (including Engineering Technology, Graphical Communication, and Engineering Drawing) and Entrepreneurial Education (including Accounts and Business Studies) and will initially have five full time members of staff.
To promote the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to become technologically literate, competent, creative and enterprising 21st century citizens.
