All those intending to join the MTL English course should note the special entry requirements and ensure that they have the required background in language and/or linguistics to enrol on this course. This background will stand you in good stead as a prospective teacher of English. In practice, this means that while doing your first degree you should ensure that 25 ECTS come from study units that focus on language and/or linguistics.
