The Salaries Section is responsible for the process of payment of salaries to all UM employees. Payment of salaries are issued on a four weekly basis, while payment for overtime duties is effected eight weeks in arrears. Staff at the Salaries Section are also responsible for payment of all taxable emoluments paid by the University of Malta to occasional members of staff.
