The Institute of Earth Systems' timetables will now be published using a new timetabling and scheduling software introduced by the University of Malta. This new system is in line with the UM’s vision to digitalise its processes and provide a better service to both students and staff.
Students can access the new timetables in the following ways:
The timetable platform will create your personal timetable covering those study-units for which you have registered. You can also sync your personal timetable to your calendar by using the Subscribe button at the top right-hand corner of My timetable.
Should any study-unit activities for which you are registered be missing from your personal timetable, kindly contact the Institute's administrative staff with details of the study-unit activities in question.
Changes to the timetables will be automatically updated on My timetable, and also in your calendar. Please note that changes to the calendar may take up to 24 hours to show up. However, you will also receive an email advising you of any timetable changes.
Once you activate your UM email account, you will be able to access the online timetabling platform You can search for the study-units you will be taking, or those are interested in, using the Search Timetable option from the menu on the left-hand side.
Once you have registered for your study-units, your personal timetable will automatically be available under My Timetable in the left-hand side menu.
We encourage you to activate your UM email account as soon as possible in order to gain access to your personal timetable. You can still access timetabling information without an account, by visiting the timetabling page and selecting GUEST.
You will then be able to search by Module (study-unit) or Programme of Study.
Please note that once you have activated your UM email account and registered for your study-units, your personal timetable will be available automatically.
