Open Access printers require printing credits which can be purchased online via the Manage UM IT Account page. The minimum credit purchase is €1, and payment can be made using credit/debit cards. You can check the credit balance online or from any IT workstation by double-clicking the PaperCut Client icon located in the system tray at the bottom right of the screen. You can also track your recent print jobs on the PaperCut web portal by clicking on Recent Print Jobs.

A3 printing
A3 printing is available at: IT Services Building, Faculty for the Built Environment Lab A, University Library Level 2 and Faculty of Health Science Lab (Mater Dei Hospital).
Lead time: Please submit the request form at least two working days in advance.
Individual use only: This service is intended for academic purposes and supports only small-volume printing. High-volume requests cannot be accommodated.
Printing Credits: Refer to the printing costs above and ensure you have sufficient printing credits.

All A4/A3 paper printing is done on a self-service basis during the opening hours of the locations above.
From the print window, select the Find-Me-Printingprinter. Note: If you are using a personal device for the first time, you need to add the printer first using your UM credentials when requested.
Review the print settings as required and click Print.
Go to the nearest printer you want to use.
Open the My UM app on your smartphone. If you do not have it installed yet, you can download it here.
Tap Print Release.
Choose the printer name as shown on the printer’s label.
Select the print jobs you want to print and tap Release. The print jobs will be released to the printer.
Open the My UM app on your smartphone.
Tap Print Release.
Choose any printer from the list.
Select the print jobs you want to cancel and tap Cancel.
Q: Where is my printout? A: Use the report tool to check the status of your print job.
Q: Nothing is printing. A: Make sure you have enough printing credits available.
Q: The printer shows an error (e.g., out of paper, paper jam, etc.). A: Please contact the IT Service Desk for assistance.
