2-6 March 2026
This year's Pharmacy Symposium will be held at the Central Auditorium, Medical School, Mater Dei Hospital.
This year’s symposium is particularly significant as it commemorates the 60th Anniversary of the Malta Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (MPSA).
During the symposium, students enrolled in the five courses offered by the Department of Pharmacy will present their final dissertations and projects through oral and poster presentations. Postgraduate students reading for Master’s and Doctoral degrees will present research across a wide range of areas, including Pharmacy Practice, Digital Health, Global Pharmacy, Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Pharmacotherapeutics, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Sciences, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmacy Education. Doctoral candidates will also present their research in the MPhil–PhD Oral Communication Session, engaging with the wider academic community.
The symposium provides an important platform for students, staff, and collaborators to meet, network, and discuss developments in pharmacy practice and research. The MPSA 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner [PDF] will take place on Friday 6 March 2026.
Healthcare professionals and colleagues are warmly invited to attend. Please find below the full programme.
