Information for Year 1 students (ALL students need to attend) - B.Performing Arts (Hons), B.Theatre (Hons), B.Dance (Hons) and B.Music (Hons)  

For Bachelor in Theatre (Honours), Bachelor in Dance Studies (Honours), Bachelor of Music (Hons) and Bachelor in Performing Arts (Hons) students:

First Year students may contact the Departmental Secretaries (Theatre Studies or Dance Studies or Music Studies), Postgraduate secretary or the School Administrative Officer 

Important Year 1 Meetings 2023/2024

Meeting with School of Performing Arts Director (All students to attend): Tuesday 3 October at 12:30  Venue: Gateway Bldg Room 214

Dance Studies Departmental meeting: Wednesday 4 October at 09:00 Venue: Gateway Bldg Room 104

Music Studies Departmental meeting: Wednesday 4 October at 11:30 Venue: Gateway Bldg Room 104

Theatre Studies Departmental meeting: Wednesday 4 October at 09:30 Venue: Old Humanities Room 122

Students are encouraged to bring a notepad and pen with them to jot down important points that are discussed during the meeting.

All School of Performing Arts students (ONLY) need to attend the Director meeting. 

School of Performing Arts and Faculty of Arts students need to attend also the departmental meeting.

Accessing Google Calendar timetables 

1. Students can print or view the timetables per week, month or as daily agenda from the top right-hand corner of the page.
2. Students can navigate the timetable from the options on the top left-hand corner of the page.
3. Timetables can be integrated to smart phones by clicking on the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

Kindly note that an email notification WILL ONLY be sent if cancellations, additional lectures and/or changes in venues happen one day before OR on the day of the lecture. Students are expected to check their time-tables regularly for any changes.
