Research proposals involving collection of data from human subjects (e.g. interviews) need ethics clearance. A Research Ethics and Data Protection form needs to be completed. More information can be found on the UM Research Ethics online page here.
You can receive more information and guidance from your supervisor. Departmental (theatre, dance, music) ethics representatives are also well placed to offer further advice. These representatives can be found here. Students following a Bachelor in Performing Arts (Honours) programme should contact their supervisor first and then the School Director for further questions.
