Glen Bonnici is Lecturer at the Department of Italian, where he teaches Italian studies and film studies. His research interests include cinematic metareference, Anglo-Italian studies, film and television adaptations of literary works and the representation of space in fiction. He completed his Ph.D. on post-Fellinian metareferential Italian cinema in 2025. He is also an Editorial Assistant for the Journal of Italian Cinema and Media Studies, a fully peer-reviewed English-language publication.
