Dr Karen Carachi is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and an EMDR Practitioner, warranted to practise in both Malta and the United Kingdom. She specialises in adult mental health and works with a wide range of psychological presentations, from mild to severe, including depression, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma-related difficulties.
Dr Carachi currently serves as a Counselling Services Professional at the University of Malta, where she provides psychological assessments, EMDR therapy, and other evidence-based psychological therapies to support the wellbeing of UM students and staff members.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Carachi has been serving as a Board Member at FSWS since May 2022.
