Dr Lucy Paterson

Lucy Paterson obtained her doctoral degree in Political Science at King’s College, London. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Edinburgh University and a master’s degree from the University of Malta, MEDAC.

As well as lecturing at the Department of International Relations, University of Malta, Lucy is a Teaching Fellow at King’s, working in the Department of Defence Studies both at the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS), London and at the Joint Services Command and Staff College (JSCSC), Shrivenham, UK.

Prior to this Lucy had a career in investment banking and ran a FinTech business.

Her research interests include the workings of NATO, the United Nations and other international organisations, such as the EU Commission.
