Originally from Peru, Mrs Yomeny moved to Malta in 2014. In Peru, she studied nursing and later worked in Italy for 5 years as a nurse, followed by 2 years of nursing experience in Malta. However, she decided to make a career shift to childcare because she wanted to dedicate more time to her daughter and family. Mrs Yomeny joined Tajra in 2018, initially starting with a placement. In 2019, she transitioned into the role of an Attendant and later progressed to become a Childcare Educator in 2021. For her, the children under her care are like her own, and she places a significant emphasis on attachment. Saying goodbye to the children when they leave is challenging for her, as she goes through the process of building relationships with them. The relationship with parents is also crucial to Mrs Yomeny. She values open communication and understanding how the children are feeling. Fortunately, she has had positive experiences working with nice and understanding parents. Outside of work, Mrs Yomeny enjoys spending time in quiet places, visiting her friend who has a large garden, and spending summers by the sea. She has a creative side, enjoying singing and dancing, and occasionally watching movies. Quality time with her family, including outdoor activities, is something she treasures.
Mrs Yomeny has a compassionate and empathetic nature. She takes the time to listen to others and strives to understand their perspectives. If there's an opportunity to help, she is willing to contribute. Overall, her story reflects a caring individual who values relationships, both personally and professionally.
