About us

The Conference & Events Unit offers assistance to all the academics and university staff when planning and organising conferences, meetings, workshops and other related events. Additionally, we offer logistical assistance to other non-university clients in organising national and international events, both at the Valletta Campus as well as in other locations. Get to know more about the services we offer.

In addition to taking care of conferences logistics in different venues, the Conference Unit manages one of the most interesting historic venues in Valletta. The Valletta Campus, commonly referred to as the Old University building was originally built at the beginning of the 17th century to serve as a Jesuit College and Convent. The rooms are distributed around a central courtyard, as was typical of Renaissance buildings of the era. The three floors display a magnificent juxtaposition of ancient features and modern technological facilities, which make the space an impressive venue for any occasion.
