Students Information Management System

SIMS—the Student Information Management System—is a comprehensive software suite used to record and manage student data which is relevant to the students' study-period at UM.
            
Access levels for SIMS depend on the role and requirements of the individual member of staff and access is granted once a member of staff attends the relevant training sessions.

SIMS training sessions are organised throughout the year by the SIMS Office. To avail yourself of SIMS training fill in the relevant form.

Both UM students and staff have access to the eSIMS portal which feeds data directly to and from SIMS and provides facilities for:
  • students to view their study-unit registrations and results
  • academic members of staff to send emails to their students, print reports and input marks
  • administrative members of staff to manage / update student records via the web.
