The Argotti Botanic Gardens and Resource Centre invites schools to explore nature with us!
We are opening our doors to students from year 1 to year 11 and beyond offering engaging visits designed to bring learning to life outside the classroom.

Each visit lasts about one to one and a half hours and is tailored to the students’ age. Our tours encourage observation, critical thinking, and hands-on activities that make the natural world both accessible and exciting.

Some of the themes explored include:

  • How flowers attract insects for pollination.
  • How seeds are dispersed and grow into new plants
  • How plants survive in different habitats.
  • How Maltese plants adapt to our dry Mediterranean climate.

Join the Argotti competition and win your school indigenous Maltese plants! Download the School Competition to learn more!
