Higher Diploma in Community Access for Disabled People

Discover your true potential with our Higher Diploma in Community Access for Disabled People programme!

The Higher Diploma Course in Community Access for Disabled People builds on the Certificate and Diploma course. It goes deeper into the different philosophical, sociological and psychological issues which underpin various disabled-related topics, identifies salient rights-based issues that disabled people face in local contemporary society, compares how these issues are experienced by disabled people abroad, and prepares students to write a guided long essay on a disability-related topic of their choice. Students who complete the Higher Diploma and wish to acquire an undergraduate degree, have the opportunity to join the third year of the BA (Hons.) in Social Wellbeing.
