Discover your true potential with our Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Youth and Community Studies programme!
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Youth and Community Studies was launched in 1993 in an attempt to enhance the academic and professional development of prospective youth workers and offer intriguing insights on the transdisciplinary orientation of youth and community studies. The degree thus provides training on the intra and inter-personal skills and practice-oriented experience requisite for professional youth and community work and preparation in the academic rigour required for navigating the complex field that constitutes youth and community studies. It is offered on both a full and part-time basis. Moreover, following the regulation of entry into the youth work profession, its successful completion is compulsory to exercise youth work in a professional capacity – a field that offers the prospect of a dynamic and personally-enriching profession.
