Selection Committee for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings

The Selection Committee for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting has been set up to:

  • to run an annual selection process to nominate a candidate for Malta’s participation in the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Series
  • to ensure that this process is transparent and fair
  • to provide adequate communication of the UM's participation in the Lindau Meetings to society through local media
  • to maintain financial viability of the initiative and to seek a sustainable expansion to this participation
  • to engage with various local stakeholders in line with the objectives of the Lindau Meetings Series mission objectives
  • to encourage nominees to attract prominent researchers to Malta for a series of public engagement activities and to open a deeper dialogue with local stakeholders.

Term of Appointment:
1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
