We recommended you go through the guide compiled by the Joint Programmes Committee, entitled Requirements, Procedures and Recommendations Joint Programmes Initiatives , which seeks to inform and support academic members of staff at the University of Malta on crucial issues which must be taken into consideration when thinking about proposing and developing joint degrees.

You are strongly advised to read through some publications and guidebooks which have been put together by other higher education institutions. The list below offers some recommended texts:

  2. Becker, R. 2020. Joint Programmes from A to Z. A reference guide for practitioners (2nd updated edition).
  3. Guide to developing and running joint programmes at Bachelor and Master’s level – a template. Developed by Lund University and the University of Bergen.
  4. Sundnes, J.R &  Kvernmo, T.M. 2014. Handbook on joint degrees.  The Norwegian Association of Higher Education Institutions.
