Drinking water fountains on campus

In April 2020, six additional water fountains were installed on campus at the following locations:

  • Quadrangle under wooden gazebo
  • close to the Science Lecture Theatre (SLT)
  • between the University Library and the Media & Knowledge Sciences (MAKS) Building
  • the Faculty for the Built Environment Building
  • close to BOV ATM
  • close to Maths & Physics, Biosciences and Chemistry buildings.

The water fountains purify and disinfect water by use of UV and filtration.

UM maintains all the drinking water fountains on campus, which now amount to twelve.
