The Philosophy Research Seminars are a recurring series hosted by the Department of Philosophy at the University of Malta, offering a dedicated space for philosophical inquiry and dialogue.
Bringing together Maltese and international researchers, the series provides a collegial forum for scholars at every stage of their careers to present and develop work in progress. The seminars also serve as a welcoming space to engage with the academic visitors whose presence enriches our Department and lends an international dimension to our programmes.
Current and recent students, postgraduate and doctoral candidates, and academics working within or at the boundaries of philosophy are all warmly encouraged to participate. The general public is equally welcome.
Each seminar follows a focused format: a c. 45-minute presentation followed by an extended discussion session.
Information about forthcoming seminars is shared regularly on our Facebook page. For further information, contact the series convenor Prof. Jean-Paul De Lucca.
