  • Best Poster Award - International  Congress on Engineering and Food,Quebec City, Canada, June 14 - 18, 2015. Awarded to David Millan Sango. Assessing bacterial recovery of cold atmospheric plasma treatments.


  • FP7 Incentive Scheme Successful Project Award Scheme from The Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST). August 8, 2014. 

  • W. H. Pierce Prize. The W. H. Pierce prize is awarded to young microbiologists who have made a substantial contribution to bacteriology and is kindly sponsored by the Directors of Thermo Fisher Scientific. SfAM-MVNA Summer Conference, July 2, 2014, Brighton, UK. 

  • SfAM Student Professional Placement Grant awarded to Ms Arianne Muscat for performing research in the area of Food Mycology (July to November 2014).

CPD Study-Unit - MNH4001 Child and Adolescent Mental Health

During Semester 2 of Academic Year 2017/8, the Department of Mental Health shall be offering the study-unit MNH4001 Child and Adolescent Mental Health to registered professionals in possession of a first degree, currently working with children or adolescents.

Applications shall be received between the 27th November and the 1st December 2017.
