The Doctoral School’s annual networking meeting and workshop is a key event for officers responsible for doctoral research administration across Faculties, Institutes, Centres, and Schools. This interactive session provides a platform for the Doctoral School to update participants on new policies, procedures, and operational changes, while also encouraging dialogue around shared challenges and best practices.

The event fosters a collaborative environment where participants can raise questions, share experiences, and strengthen their working relationship with the Doctoral School and with peers across the University. 

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Identify and understand recent updates and procedural changes introduced by the Doctoral School;
• Clarify any uncertainties related to the administration of doctoral researchers;
• Share and discuss common challenges and practical solutions in managing doctoral students;
• Strengthen their professional network with other administrative staff working in the same field;
• Contribute ideas or suggestions to improve coordination between the Doctoral School and their respective academic entities;
• Feel more confident in supporting doctoral candidates and managing key aspects of doctoral administration.
