Fire Warden

Training Requirements: Participants should wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for moving around.
This course equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to recognise and
mitigate fire risks in the workplace. The training addresses fire safety awareness, evacuation procedures, and the proper use of firefighting equipment. Through a blend of theory and hands-on practice, participants will gain the confidence to take action in fire-related emergencies, ensuring the safety of themselves and others.
This course is ideal for individuals tasked with fire warden responsibilities or those seeking to enhance their understanding of workplace fire safety and emergency procedures.
A digital certificate with a 3-year validity will be issued to participants who successfully complete
the training session. The certificate will be issued on the Blockcert system. The participants will be
also be able to download the certificates in PDF format and print these.

First Aid

This course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills needed to confidently handle
a variety of medical emergencies, from minor injuries to life-threatening situations. The course is
tailored for both novices and those seeking to enhance their first aid capabilities. By the end of
the course, participants will be prepared to manage critical scenarios, delegate tasks effectively,
and communicate vital information to emergency services. Throughout the training, participants
will learn and practice first aid protocols applicable to adults, children, and infants. The course
also features a demonstration of the AED (automated external defibrillator).
The First Aid course is assessed through a written multiple-choice test and a practical test.
Successful candidates receive a St John Ambulance & Rescue digital certificate, valid for three
years. This international certificate is recognised by the local Occupational Health & Safety
Regulations. The certificate will be issued on the Blockcert system. The participants will be also be
able to download the certificates in PDF format and print these.
By the end of the course, participants will:
▪ recognise life-threatening situations;
▪ be able to manage a casualty while waiting for more qualified medical help to arrive;
▪ be able to provide single-person CPR.
Paediatric First Aid

Course Duration: 12 hours
Delivery Mode: Classroom-based

The course is designed to equip participants with the skills and confidence to manage emergency
situations involving infants and young children. Tailored for professionals such as childcare
providers, playgroup leaders, childminders, and school staff, this course focuses exclusively on
paediatric first aid protocols and prepares participants to handle a wide range of emergencies
effectively.
The course covers the following key topics:
Handling unresponsive casualties and ensuring workplace health and safety compliance.The Paediatric First Aid course is assessed through a written multiple-choice test and a practical
