The Application Form for the International Exchange Programme can be downloaded from here.

Before applying, students are requested to refer to the programme of studies on the websites of the international Universities/Institutions, so as to make an informed decision when marking their preferences on the application.  Students are advised to indicate more than one University to which they would like to go on an exchange.  The order of preference (with 1 being the first preference) should be indicated in the box next to the University’s name.

Students are required to apply to those Universities which offer study-units relevant to their course.  Students are required to seek guidance from the Dean/Director/Academic Advisor before marking their preferences.

Students have to submit an ‘authorisation form’ together with the application, which indicates that the student is given permission by the Dean/Director to participate in the exchange programme, should he/she be selected.  Students are allowed to participate in exchange programmes only if authorized by their Dean/Director.  Students undertaking more than one area of studies, have to obtain two approval forms from their respective Faculties/Institutes/Centres.

Applications should be handed to Monique Mallia, International & EU Office, Room 107, Administration Building, University of Malta.

Students should ensure that the application includes their unofficial academic transcript together with the authorisation from the Dean/Director to participate in the exchange programme.

The deadline for applications is 30th November. Late applications will not be accepted. Students are to retain a copy of their application form duly signed by the Student Exchange Coordinator.
