The Maltese Public Health Authorities have lifted all travel bans that were in place during the Covid-19 pandemic. The two lists of countries that were categorised as Red and Dark Red have been eliminated.
International travellers no longer require prior authorisation from the Maltese Public Health Authorities to travel to Malta.

Arrival in Malta:
If you are travelling by air, you will land at the Malta International Airport. Once you land at the Airport, you can go directly to your accommodation by public transport or by taxi. A number of public bus routes operate from the airport to several areas in Malta. Access the full list of routes on the Malta Public Transport website. Taxis are available at the arrivals lounge.
