IT Services (Campus Map - Location 34) houses the following open access areas:

• Open Access Hall 001 (Level 0)
• Open Access Room 002 (Level 0)
• Training Room/Open Access Room 104 (Level 1)

Opening hours

Note that:

• In addition to desks for single use, Hall 001 and Room 002 have designated areas for groupwork. In Hall 001 there are some large screens to facilitate group work.
• Training Room/Open Access Room 104 is a silent working area.
• In addition to the standard software, the workstations at IT Services have ArcGIS 10 and Manifold System 8 installed.
• In addition to Windows-based workstations, Room 002 has a Mac-based workstation.
• Laser printing facilities are available in Hall 001 and in the Printing Room (opposite the Reception Desk).
• Scanning facilities and document binding services are available.

The University Main Library (Campus Map - Location 24) has open access workstations in these areas:

• Level 1 - Reference Section
• Level 2 - Learning & Study Environment
• Level 3 - Reading Areas

The open-access workstations are available during the Main Library opening hours.

Note that:

• Level 2 offers flexible study spaces for group and individual work.
• Laser printing facilities are available at each level. Level 2 is equipped with colour laser printing facilities.
• Scanning facilities are available.

The Faculty for the Built Environment houses a computer lab at the Built Environment Building (Campus Map - Location 10).

Note that:

• In addition to the standard software, the workstations in this lab have AutoDesk Architectural Desktop and SketchUp Pro.
• Wide format printing is available.

The Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy (FEMA) computer lab is located at the FEMA Building Rm 222. (Campus Map - Location 15)

• This open access lab is primarily aimed at users making use of their own devices (Bring Your Own Device). A limited number of open access workstations are also available. 

The Faculty of Media & Knowledge Sciences (MaKS) computer lab is located at the MaKS Building Rm112 (Campus Map - Location 22).
