Some of the research projects carried out within the Department of Pharmacy are aimed to develop Information Leaflets that could serve as effective educational tools to disseminate information to patients and health care professionals. Patient leaflets have been developed for areas such as anxiety, depression, infant colic, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's disease, palliative care, diabetes and hypercholesterolaemia amongst others. Pharmacy students participate in these research projects through their project.
