Focussed on quality engineering and production layout optimisation, this project investigates the effectiveness of immersive, Metaverse-based training compared to traditional learning methods.

Vision and Goals

MIT-QALO merges training in Quality Assurance (QA) and Production Layout Optimisation within a highly interactive Metaverse platform. By incorporating scenario-based learning through the use of digital twin technology, the project equips participants with dual competencies essential for the modern, adaptable industrial manufacturing sector. This initiative is set to elevate engineering education and professional development, contributing to Malta’s position at the forefront of educational innovation and industrial progress.
