Embodied Lives: Interdisciplinary Dialogues on the Body
International Colloquium

The Department of Moral Theology at the University of Malta is pleased to host Embodied Lives: Interdisciplinary Dialogues on the Body, an international colloquium that brings together scholars and practitioners from different disciplines to explore the body as a lived experience and its social, cultural, medical, ethical, philosophical, and theological dimensions. The programme includes more than 50 presentations across a range of thematic areas.

Venue and programme
The main venue is the ICT Auditorium, University of Malta, Msida Campus, with parallel sessions also taking place in ICT Communications Lab (Level 0, Block B, Room 1) and ICT Computing Lab 1 (Level 0, Block B, Room 7).
The official language is English, though some presentations will be delivered in French, Italian or Spanish. English translations will be available for each.

Cultural programme
The colloquium also includes cultural and social activities, including visits to the Three Cities, Valletta and St John’s Co-Cathedral.

Selected papers may be considered for publication following the conference, subject to editorial review and peer review.
