Educational research

  • Moral, cognitive and psychosocial development of nursing students
  • Students’ Perceptions of Nursing by Arts: A comparative study with University of Philippines, Philippines. (in collaboration with Bunagon A.)
  • Inter-professional collaboration in the Maltese paediatric setting
  • Transcultural healthcare encounters with African migrants in the primary health care setting and the implications for healthcare education

Chronic conditions and self-management

  • The psychosocial aspect of the lived experiences of people between 18-35 years living with chronic illness and implications on the role of the health counsellor
  • The impact of self-management interventions in Type 2 diabetes on blood glucose control
  • Lived experiences of a thalassaemic sample with a change in treatment protocol (from intramuscular iron chelator to an oral chelator)
