IT Services has AV equipment available for short-term loans by UM staff for University-related work. The loaning of AV equipment is free of charge. Sanctions may be imposed for overdue equipment, damages or non-returned items.

The AV equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis for short periods. Reservations should be made by completing the request equipment loan form. IT Services will send an email confirming the availability of the equipment and the date when the equipment can be picked up. The borrower is responsible for the equipment during the loan period.
Borrowers are required to return the equipment to IT Services Desk on the agreed date so that these will be made available to the next borrowers. Returned equipment will be checked for any damages.

IT Services supports academics and departments with the provision of AV for events, conferences and meetings. Many UM halls are already equipped with adequate AV systems for meetings, however additional microphones, mixers, and other related equipment can be provided upon request. IT Services can also support academics and departments to outsource AV equipment and services that is not available at UM.
