The Directorate for Outreach Services, C2C (Campus to Community, Community to Campus) has been established as a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening the relationship between the University of Malta and the wider community.

The Directorate serves as a bridge between the University and society, creating opportunities for meaningful collaboration that connects academic knowledge, research and expertise with the needs and experiences of local communities. Through this initiative, the University seeks to foster partnerships that contribute to social development while also enriching teaching, research and student learning.

Our Mission

The mission of the Directorate for Outreach Services – C2C is to create meaningful connections between the University of Malta and the communities it serves by:

  • promoting community engagement and social responsibility
  • facilitating partnerships between academia and community organisations
  • supporting learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom
  • encouraging the exchange of knowledge between academic and community stakeholders.

What is C2C?

The Campus to Community, Community to Campus (C2C) Directorate was established to strengthen the connection between the University and society.

C2C acts as a bridge between academic expertise and community knowledge, ensuring that the University's teaching, research, and resources contribute directly to addressing societal challenges while also enriching student learning and academic development.

Through collaboration with a range of community partners, the Directorate promotes mutual learning, shared knowledge, and social engagement.
