Moira Azzopardi Barbieri is a senior visiting lecturer and co-ordinator of the B.Ed.(Hons) and PGCE music programmes within the Faculty of Education. Her specialization is Music Methodology. She is also a practising performer and a full-time teacher at the Johann Strauss School of Music wherein she teaches Theory of Music and Basic Music Education for Children. Her advanced music studies were conducted at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Besides lecturing in music education, she currently holds concerts on regular basis with Children's choirs, ORFF schulwerk, Ensemble Playing and Chamber Music. On Campus, she holds workshops, conducts musicals and organizes exhibitions related to coursework.
