Music plays an important role throughout the year at the Chaplaincy.
Other than animating the daily mass and Christmas and Easter liturgies, we also provide instruments and space where you can have casual jamming sessions, and have organised concerts to raise funds in aid of the Chaplaincy Food Bank.
There are many ways to get involved through music at the Chaplaincy, so should you want to help out, contact us at: chaplaincy@um.edu.mt
Having an extremely energetic Chaplain has many benefits! - We hope to organise long walks a.k.a. hikes, running marathons, kayaking and much more to keep ourselves fit and in great company. Look out for more information here and on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
If you’re into digital arts, marketing and are great with social media, your talent could be put to good use in helping us to create posters, edit videos, organise the marketing of our events and what not!
Apart from using the kitchen as a facility to warm your meals or grab a cup of coffee with some biscuits, you can also offer to help in preparing food for our Wednesday lunches. These lunches, which are held on Wednesdays at 1pm, are a great way of supporting your fellow students, participating in the Campus community life and to learn how to prepare large quantities of food.
Throughout the week, students sometimes offer to cook meals for other students and eat together, creating a great community experience.
If you are interested in helping out, contact us at: chaplaincy@um.edu.mt
Each year, the Chaplaincy finds ways to animate the year through the liturgy.
Should you wish to participate in the liturgy, help in decorating, join the Christmas or Easter choirs, prepare PowerPoints or share ideas on how to make the Chaplaincy environment more prayerful and welcoming, you may contact us at: chaplaincy@um.edu.mt
