Welcome to the Department of Psychology



The mission of the Department of Psychology is to conduct research, to teach and to train students in the scientific understanding of general psychology, human behaviour and relationships, and mental health. It also aims to train postgraduate students in the areas of Clinical, Counselling, Health, Educational, Neuro and Forensic Psychology. The programmes offered by the Department include:

  • Bachelor in Psychology (Honours)
  • Degrees with Psychology as an Area of Study (offered in collaboration with other Faculties)
  • Higher Diploma in Psychology
  • Master in Psychology

Our programmes are delivered by qualified and dedicated lecturers who are leaders in their areas of interest both locally and abroad. Members of staff work as government consultants, are prominent members on local and international professional executive committees and have  high research profiles.
